Our Storied Past

Step back in time and experience the charm of one of New South Wales’ most historic inns. Nestled beside the tranquil Macdonald River in the heart of St. Albans, the Settlers Arms Inn is a heritage-listed gem built from convict-hewn sandstone and steeped in colonial history.

Established in 1836, our Georgian-style inn once served as a vital stopover for Cobb & Co. stagecoaches journeying between Sydney and Newcastle. Today, it remains a beloved destination for travelers seeking a peaceful escape with a touch of old-world charm.
